Powell Taper Bamboo Blank – 7'6" 5/6wt 2/2 Fly Rod Blank (Two Tips)
$245.00
A hand-planed split-cane fly rod blank built on the Powell "No Name" taper — a 7'6" two-piece design for a 5/6 weight line. This is a darker, flame-tempered blank with rich honey-to-amber tones in the cane.
The Powell "No Name" refers to the classic unmarked economy taper associated with the Powell rod tradition. This blank is unsigned on the cane; the original cloth bag is labeled "Powell No Name · 7'6" · 2pc · 5/6wt." We describe it as built on the Powell "No Name" taper rather than as a factory-marked Powell, since the cane carries no maker's stamp.
